7. Software Licensing and Hardware ID (HWID)
SP Engineering Suite may use hardware identification information to help verify authorized software installations and prevent unauthorized copying, sharing or activation of software licenses.
A Hardware ID (HWID) may be generated from one or more characteristics of the computer on which the software is installed.
The HWID is used primarily as a technical licensing and security identifier. It is not intended to be used as a substitute for your name or professional identity.
Because changing computer hardware may change a machine identifier, certain hardware modifications, system migrations or reinstallations may require license reactivation or support intervention.
We may use licensing information to detect suspicious activation patterns, excessive activations, unauthorized sharing, tampering or other conduct that may violate the applicable software license terms.
8. Authentication and Cloud Services
We may use third-party infrastructure and cloud service providers to provide authentication, database, hosting, licensing and other technical functionality.
For example, our Services may use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, depending on the specific application and configuration.
Information processed through such services may be subject to the security practices, terms and privacy policies of those service providers.
We select service providers based on operational, technical and security requirements appropriate to the Services.

Some technology and infrastructure providers used by the Services may process information on infrastructure located outside India.
Where information is transferred, stored or processed across jurisdictions, we will seek to do so in accordance with applicable law and contractual or technical safeguards applicable to the relevant service.
You acknowledge that cloud-based services may involve infrastructure distributed across multiple geographic locations.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, destruction or loss.
Depending on the information and Service involved, security measures may include:
- Authenticated access controls

However, no electronic transmission, computer system, database or Internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including account administration, software licensing, customer support, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution and legitimate business record-keeping.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, contractual, accounting or security requirements.

14. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion or closure of their account by contacting us using the contact details provided below.
Upon receiving a valid request, we may verify the identity of the requester before processing the request.
Deletion of an account may result in loss of access to software licenses, project settings, account history or other Services associated with that account.

22. Important Software Disclaimer
SP Engineering Suite / SP Master Automation Suite is a drafting and engineering-assistance software system.
The software may use geometry observations, predefined drafting standards, empirical rules, user-entered information and automation logic to assist in preparing drawings, schedules, annotations and related drafting outputs.
The software is not intended to replace the independent professional judgment, structural analysis, engineering design checks, code compliance review or approval of a qualified engineer.
The user is solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and approving all drawings, schedules, dimensions, reinforcement information, structural assumptions and other outputs before they are used for construction, submission or professional purposes.
